Treasured by women and men alike for more than 4,000 years, pearls are one of the world’s oldest gems. Beginning from a speck of sand — a kind of adversity — they are gradually transformed into something beautiful, strong, and resilient. It’s with this foundation that Party Girl Pearl has been cultured, and is brought to you today to create socially-connecting experiences while elevating the feminine and fun.

Pearl truly came out of her oyster shell after experiencing her first Burning Man in 2011. She relocated to the Bay area in 2012 and quickly established a flagship event called Bass Cabaret which brought together performing artists and bass music fans. There have been eight editions of this boisterous and bass-bumping costume party in venues around San Francisco including the historic 1015 Folsom, Mighty (now Great Northern), Broadway Studios, and Inner Mission / CellSpace. The immersive variety show themes have included a Victorian Wonderland-themed “Queen of Pearls Mad Tea Party,” 1900s Moulin Rouge-inspired “French Kiss,”  1910s Edwardian-era Titanic party, 1920s Art Deco / Gatsby, and 1930s “Bonnie & Clyde.”

Pearl studied burlesque in San Francisco with Bombshell Betty and Dotty Lux, and since her debut in 2013 she has continued to perform and also teach this incredibly empowering art form.  You may have seen her performing in Red Hots Burlesque, Bombshell Betty’s Burlesqueteers, Hubba Hubba Revue, the No Cover Cabaret, Opulent Temple’s Deep Red, 20 Mission, Burning Man, Northern Nights Music Festival, Serenity Gathering, PRIDE parties, and innumerable birthday parties and private events.

Wherever you find Pearl, you’re sure to find vintage charm, a modern sensibility in music, and lots of iridescence and sparkles.
